Meek Mill Will Deploy An Element Of Surprise For His Next Project.

Meek Mill told the New York Post that he intends on releasing his next album on a surprise date if at all possible. Indubitably inspired by Eminem's Kamikaze attack, Meek Mill hopes the tactic will engender an element of shock, and possibly give him the peace of mind to go about his business without tons of media scrutiny (Nicki's dealings with the media come to mind).

"I'm not actually giving out a release date, it’s a surprise album," the Philly rapper is quoted as saying. Within the same New York Post article, Meek Mill also hinted at a song dedicated to Colin Kaepernick appearing on the record. He even previewed a few of the lines from the song.

"They told Kap to stand up if you want to play for a team, and most of his teammates said the same thing," and, "Back in the ’30s you would be killed if you kneeled. They won’t kill you now, they just take you out of the deal."

Since returning from prison, Meek Mill has only teased his current form in guest spots and on his EP Legends of the Summer which debuted in July. As for his dedication to Colin Kaepernick, the exiled footballer and Meek were said to be in contact during his incarceration. You'll have to keep your eyes and ears peeled for the drop.
