Young Thug Incarceration As Yung Bans Plan's Protest.

Young Thug

Young Thug's currently dealing with some serious legal trouble. The rapper turned himself to authorities yesterday on several felony drug charges after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Unfortunately, it was reported earlier today that the prosecutors on the case are fighting to have him held without bond.

Now, fellow Atlanta rapper Yung Bans has come up with a method to protest Thugger's recent incarceration. Yung Bans is vowing to maintain sex-free until Young Thug is released from prison and he encourages his fans to do the same. The rapper took to Twitter to announce his plans of practising celibacy until Young Thug is free.

The DeKalb County Sheriffs' Office database show he was booked at 2:25 p.m. ET on five counts for violating Georgia's controlled substance act. There is no further clarification on when the rapper will be released from custody. The felonies stem from the YSL artist's Sept. 2017 arrest, where he was originally pulled over for tinted windows but then police found a medley of drugs upon searching the vehicle.
He was charged for possession and intent to distribute hydrocodone, meth, and marijuana. Additionally, Thug was hit with two counts of codeine possession, Xanax, amphetamine, and had an illegal firearm on him. Thug reportedly departed from J. Cole's KOD Tour to head home and served as a no-show at the trek's Denver stop (Sept. 10), much to the dismay of fans.
